Volunteer Requirements

During the registration process, you will be required to select days/times for volunteering (or pay to opt out) during the season. However, if you are selected for an automatic opt out (such as coaching), you will then be removed from this requirement.

Hours Per Family: Each family is required to fulfill 8 hours per season, which includes 6 hours in concessions (2 three-hour shifts) AND 2 hours park clean up (1 shift). You must sign up at the time of registration or pay the opt-out fees when you register your child. It is $150 to opt out of concessions hours and $50 to opt out of park clean up.

  • IMPORTANT NOTE: If you need to change your concessions shift, you must do so within 24 hours of your shift. If you do not, you will be considered a no-show and your account will be charged $75 per missed shift.

Park Cleanup Exemptions: Managers, selected 1st and 2nd assistants, scorekeepers (min. 5 games) and team parents – MUST BE REGISTERED IN Sports Engine and on Team Roster.

Concessions Hours Exemptions: Managers, selected 1st and 2nd assistants, scorekeepers (min. 5 games) – MUST BE REGISTERED IN Sports Engine and on Team Roster.

Also, if you are interested in having your child’s registration fee waived, become a concession lead!

  • Leads will work 5 shifts per Season with 2 of those shifts being on a Saturday. Saturday Hours are: 8:15-1pm and/or 1pm – 5:45pm.

Reporting Your Hours: When reporting for your hours, please check in with the concessions admin for your shift in order to get credit for time volunteered.

Rain: If there is a rainout on a day you are scheduled, you do not have to make up the hours. They will be credited to your account.

Age Requirements: You must be 14 in order to volunteer in the concession stand.
