To our FYB Families,
We know these are difficult and challenging times for you, our players and our country. For our program, we wanted you to know that FYB has working been closely with FYSA, Hillsborough County and the other baseball parks we interlock with for our Rec and AB programs. The FYB Board is ensuring that all decisions being made for our organization and the health of our players and families, is based on what the experts are recommending.
Today the Fishhawk Youth Sports Association posted that the Fishhawk Sports Complex will be closed on Sunday, March 15th and until further notice. As an update to that notification, we have just learned that the Hillsborough County Parks Department will be closing all parks for 30 days.
At this time all baseball activities at the park will be suspended until April 13th, at which time we will continue to evaluate the situation at our park. We see this as a pause in our program, much like Major League Baseball, and are hopeful to resume games, AB, end of season tournaments and all-stars soon after.
