Dear Fishhawk Youth Baseball Families,
We are excited to announce that Hillsborough County has started the process of returning to baseball operations by allowing practices to resume Monday June 8. Fishhawk Youth Baseball will schedule practices only until Hillsborough County allows games to resume, which Hillsborough County has not stated when that will be. Please keep in mind that this is an ever-evolving situation and there may be changes along the way.
There will be many new policies and procedures that we will all need to follow in order to keep our players, coaches, umpires and spectators safe. Please review the complete plan to make you and your player familiar with all the changes.
All participants (Players, Coaches, and Volunteers) MUST sign a waiver before any participant will be allowed back at the park. This will be done electronically; there is no need to print and submit. Please click the link below to complete the waiver. Each player must have a separate form filled out. IE: If your family has two siblings then two forms must be filled out.
We also understand that there may be some players who are unable to or not comfortable with resuming play. For this reason, there are three options for those not continuing with spring season.
- Fees may be donated back to FYB for a tax-deductible refund ($35 Value).
- You can receive a $35 credit towards a future season of baseball.
- You can receive a refund of $25
If you decide not to return for the continuation of the Spring 2020 season please use the link below to indicate how you would like to donate or receive your refund. As a courtesy please notify your current manager of your decision as well. Each player must have a separate form filled out. IE: If your family has two siblings then two forms must be filled out.
Because there may be some teams that are left without full rosters due to some players not returning, we may need to adjust some rosters.
We look forward to returning to baseball! We have missed seeing all the families at the park enjoying baseball. We ask for your patience as we navigate this new territory. Please know we are always keeping our players, coaches, umpires and spectator’s safety and well-being our top priority.
